1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Accounting convention |
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance |
with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |
Turnover |
Turnover represents rents receivable. |
Investment property |
The property is held for long-term investment and is included at cost, contrary to the Financial |
Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). Depreciation has not been provided in |
respect of the property as the directors consider that annual depreciation would be inappropriate. This |
treatment is not in accordance with the Companies Act 2006. |
Deferred tax |
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at |
the balance sheet date. |
