Company activities and impact

Swanage fairy festival's first year was a huge success!! It bought Magic and entertainment to the town for 2 days.. Attracting thousands of visitors who arrived by car , local bus and the local Steam train. which put money into the local amenities including the car parks where over flow car parks were provided..Swanage Council deem local events a huge part of this town and we are proud to be given the go ahead to put this event on every year from now on.Swanage Fairy Festival and other Local events bring revenue and well being to the residents. also by having Local traders it helps them by giving them an opportunity to further themselves in business by being at such a lovely community event All the shops in the Town Centre got into the spirit of the festival where they heavily promoted the event by putting up posters and on their social media. All the shop windows were decorated with mythical gifts and decor Local Campsites were included on our website as places to stay, these campsites reciprocated by promoting the event on their websites and gave flyers to their guests. 20 of our local schools were given 10 family tickets each to use in their Easter and Spring/Summer Raffles where monies were raised within the schools. The schools and local Libraries held workshops and activities up to 2 months before the event itself making wands, wings, spells and crowns.The professional entertainers at Swanage Fairy festival were Phenomenal Thousands of children and adults from Swanage and beyond had their dreams come true, buy meeting a mermaid up close, Singing and hugging their favourite princess and superhero. Riding a real live Unicorn also dancing and making wishes with real fairies.. Local charities such as the All Sort'd and SEN groups were invited to sing and perform ASL on stage along side the fairies where meet and greets were held also.. just to see their delight on their faces made it all worth while. Swanage Fairy Festival cant wait to hold it for a 3rd year and to make it more spectacular than ever ..
