1Accounting Policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
Directors Responsibilities
The directors acknowledge their responsibility for complying with the requirements of
the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
Small Company Exemption
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
For the year ended 31st March 2015 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
Audit Exemption
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476
of the Companies Act 2006

1. Accounting Policies
a) The accounts have been prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards
and follow the recommendations in the Statement of Recommended Practice.
b) Voluntary income is received by way of donations and gifts and is included in full in the
Statement of Financial Activities when received.
c) Grants, included grants for the purchase of fixed assets, are recognised in full in the
Statement of Financial Activities in the year in which they are received.
d) Restricted funds are to be used for specified purposes as laid down by the donor.
Expenditure which meets these criteria is identified to the fund.
e) Unrestricted funds are donations and other income received or generated for the
objects of the charity without further specified purpose and are available as general
funds.
