2023 saw us grow our speakers and community, increasing the number of social issues that we sought to address, to include disability awareness, race and gender, mental health.We continue to support members by running monthly virtual meet ups and masterclasses. Our monthly newsletter allow members to share good practice, collaborate and take part in opportunities. We continue to promote our members campaigns and projects on our social media and actively encourage members to write blogs for our website. In November 2022, the Speakers Collective ran their first Hope Conference for grassroot individuals and organisations on the themes of Collaboration, Connection and Community. We continue to run a range of lived experience speeches, in person and virtually across the UK and inter-nationally. We deliver work in schools, businesses, government organisations, the NHS, universities and charities. We provide free webinars available to all, covering the social issues we work within and bringing together lived experience speakers with professionals. We have provided speakers to support volunteers at the AGM conferences of regional Samaritan areas.
Members are consulted at the monthly meet ups, within the newsletters on their needs and the programmes that are run for them. Clients are consulted via post-delivery questionnaires and meetings.
Two directors were paid a salary of £5,200 each.The aggregate amount of emoluments paid to or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £1,719
