  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover represents the value, net of VAT and discounts, of services and goods provided to customers and the receipt ofrevenue grant funding which is included within the operating profit. These grants are to reimberse overhead costs

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible assets are included at cost less depreciation and impairment. Depreciation has been provided at the following rates inorder to write off the assets over their estimated useful lives:Fixtures & fittings 25% Flat Rate

Providing fitness facilities open to the general public to carry out activities to benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) to provide facilities which tackles issues such as obesity, depression and other such health related issues. This is done through educating and supporting individuals and the community as a whole by providing affordable facilities for anyone who wishes to visit.
