1Accounting Policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities effective April 2008.

Other accounting policies
The directors have changed the basis of preparation of accounts with effect from the year ended 30 September 2015 to comply with guidance given in the Technical Release 03/11 published by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA) and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). As a result, service charges income, property expenditure and related assets and liabilities are not included in the accounts of the company.
