Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 March 2023 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The directors have chosen not to file a copy of the company's profit and loss account.

Unspent grants (deferred income) are held in trust for Big Lottery for expenditure on exclusively on the Resilient Rutland project.

Company activities and impact

Over the course of the last four years, the Company has benefitted from a grant from National Lottery. These funds have been funds have been used to provide support the mental health of young people in Rutland. This project is known as Resilient Rutland. Services provided have included, counselling for young people, training for teachers, funding of activities and materials to support mental health of young people and provision and access to materials for parents.This project came to an end in July 2023. In the meantime, the Company has been seeking other opportunities to support young people in Rutland. To date, this comprises a "Youth Space" for young people to meet after school once a week on a supervised basis for young people in Uppingham, Rutland.

Consultation with stakeholders

Stakeholders include:Rutland County CouncilSecondary and Primary Schools in RutlandLeicester,Leicestershire Partnership Trust and Commissioning GroupYoung People's representative groups.Consultation was through a Steering group, chaired by a director of the Company and through direct contact with stakeholder representatives.
