  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts

    The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain fixed assets and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (Effective April 2008)

    Turnover policy

    The turnover shown in the profit and loss account represents revenue recognised by the company in respect of goods and services supplied during the period, exclusive of Value Added Tax and trade discounts.

    Valuation information and policy

    Stock equates to work in progress and is valued at cost.

    Other accounting policies

    Foreign Currencies. The results of foreign currency transactions are translated a the exchange rate in operation on the date the transaction occurred. Exchange gains or losses arising on settled transactions are taken to the profit and loss account.
