Accounting policies
The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below and have remained unchanged from the previous year, and also have been consistently applied within the same accounts.
Basis of preparation
Dormant status
The company was dormant (within the meaning of Section 480 of the Companies Act 2006) throughout the current and previous period. During the period the company received no income and incurred no expenditure and therefore made neither profit nor loss.
Property management company
The company is not a trading company. As part of the management of the property, Hilda Wharf, service charges are collected from lessees to meet the costs of managing and maintaining the property. Service charges are held in trust for the benefit of the lessees. Accordingly the service charge income and expenditure is excluded from the Company's accounts and separate service charge accounts are prepared.

The company is limited by guarantee and has no share capital.
Every member of the company undertakes to contribute to the assets of the company, in the event of a winding up, such an amount as may be required not exceeding £1.
