General information |
The company is a company limited by guarantee, incorporated in England and Wales, and consequently does not have share capital. Each of the members is liable to contribute an amount not exceeding £1 towards the assets of the company in the event of liquidation.
Accounting policies |
Summary of significant accounting policies and key accounting estimates
The principal accounting policies applied in the preparation of these financial statements are set out below. These policies have been consistently applied to all the years presented, unless otherwise stated.
Statement of compliance
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 Section 1A smaller entities - 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland' and the Companies Act 2006 (as applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime).
Basis of preparation
These financial statements have been prepared using the historical cost convention except that as disclosed in the accounting policies certain items are shown at fair value.
The company was dormant throughout the current year and previous year.
The presentational currency is that of pound sterling (£).
Contractual commitments
The company contracts with third parties in its own name for the supply of services to the property for maintenance of the common parts in accordance with the terms of the lease. At 31 March 2023 the company had not entered into any non-cancellable contractual commitments. (2022 - Non-contractual commitment to the sum of £Nil).

Accounting policies (continued) |
Residential property trust
The company has no income or expenditure in its own right. All transactions in the year relate to the maintenance of the common parts in accordance with the lease. Income and expenditure arising from these transactions are shown in separate service charge accounts for the property, they do not form part of the annual accounts of the company and are not filed at Companies House. All service charges monies received from the residents of the property are held on trust for the residents. As at the balance sheet date, the monies held in trust for future maintenance of the aforementioned property amount to £13,393 (2022 - £15,625).
