Accounting policies |

Basis of preparation |
|
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |

Leasehold monies |
|
The principal activity of the company was to act as an agent in the management of the common parts and amenities of the property, utilising service charges received to meet costs. |
|
Managing agents on behalf of the company hold leaseholders service charge monies, to meet property costs as they fall due for payment. The surplus held is shown as leaseholders monies within current liabilities trade creditors. |
|
Costs payable are shown net of VAT in the income and expenditure account, with a corresponding release of service charges held, to meet these costs. |
