1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Accounting convention |
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance |
with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |
Turnover |
Turnover represents net invoiced sales of goods, excluding value added tax. |
Goodwill |
No amortisation is provided on Goodwill as in the opinion of the director, following an impairment |
review, the value of Goodwill has not reduced. This is not in accordance with the Financial Reporting |
Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008), however the director feels this departure is |
necessary for the accounts to show a true and fair view. |

Stocks are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after making due allowance for |

company's pension scheme are charged to the profit and loss account in the period to which they |
relate. |
The company makes contributions into the directors personal pension scheme. Contributions paid are |
charged to the profit and loss account. |
