Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts

The financial statements are prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008).

Turnover policy

Turnover represents amounts earned for the provision of consultancy services in the period and is recognised on an accruals basis.

Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

Tangible fixed assets are depreciated in a straight line over 5 years

Intangible fixed assets amortisation policy

Intangible fixed assets are depreciated in a straight line over 5 years

Valuation information and policy

Fixed asset investments are stated at cost less provision for diminution in value. Assets and liabilities denominated in foreign currencies are translated at the rate of exchange ruling at the Balance Sheet date. Transactions in foreign currencies are recorded at the rate ruling at the date of the transaction. The resulting exchange differences are taken to the profit and loss account.

Other accounting policies

The financial statements are prepared in accordance with applicable United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice), which have been applied consistently (except as otherwise stated).
