| 1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
| Accounting convention |
| The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance |
| with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |
| The directors have adopted the going concern basis in the preparation of the accounts as, in their |
| opinion, the use of this basis is appropriate given the continued support of the group companies and |
| other creditors. |
| Turnover |
| Turnover represents net invoiced sales of services, excluding value added tax. |
| Patents and licenses |
| Amortisation is provided at 20% straight line on cost |
| Deferred tax |
| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at |
