Basis of preparing the financial statements |
Tangible fixed assets |
No depreciation is provided in respect of the freehold property. This departure from the requirements of the Companies Act 2006, for all properties to be depreciated, is, in the opinion of the directors, necessary for the financial statements to give a true and fair view in accordance with applicable accounting standards as the properties are included in the financial statements at the appropriate value. The properties will maintain a long useful economic life and residual value through the policy of regular maintenance and repair (charges for which are recognised in the profit and loss account) such that the assets are kept to the previously assessed levels. |
