Basis of preparing the financial statements |
The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below and have remained unchanged from the previous year. |
Preparation of consolidated financial statements |
The financial statements contain information about Bridge Corporate Investments Ltd as an individual company and do not contain consolidated financial information as the parent of a group. The company is exempt under Section 399(2A) of the Companies Act 2006 from the requirements to prepare consolidated financial statements. |
Related party exemption |
The company has taken advantage of exemption, under the terms of Financial Reporting Standard 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland', not to disclose related party transactions with wholly owned subsidiaries within the group. |
Turnover |
Turnover comprises the value of sales (excluding value added tax, similar taxes and trade discounts) of services provided in the normal course of business. Revenue is recognised in respect of service contracts when the company obtains the right to consideration. |
