The company is entitled to exemption from audit under Section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 for the year ended 31 May 2015.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year ended 31 May 2015 in accordance with Section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for:
(a)ensuring that the company keeps accounting records which comply with Sections 386 and 387 of the Companies Act
2006 and
(b)preparing financial statements which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company as at the end of
each financial year and of its profit or loss for each financial year in accordance with the requirements of Sections
394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 relating to financial
statements, so far as applicable to the company.

1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements
The directors have decided that they will continue to prepare the financial statements for the company on the same
basis as they have always done despite the issuing of technical factsheet 172 by the Association of Chartered
Certified Accountants in October 2011 in relation to Residential Service Charge Accounts and FRED 50 - Draft
FRC Abstract 1 - Residential Management companies financial statements, which was issued in August 2013. this
decision has been made in light of the fact that these publications are only guidance and not yet mandatory, and the
directors consider the costs associated with implementing the adoption of this guidance to disproportionate in light
of the company's resources.

The directors will keep this matter under review for future years.

Accounting convention
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the
Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008).

Turnover
Turnover represents the amounts contributed by each resident/flat owner towards the costs of the company in
respect of the insurance and maintenance of the communal parts of the property.

Tangible fixed assets
Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life.

Freehold land - not provided

The tangible asset owned by the company is the freehold interest in the land and buildings at Norton court,
Birmingham Road, Marlbrook, Bromsgrove.

The directors assess annually the need to provide for any impairment in the recoverable amount below cost of the
company's freehold interest.

Deferred tax
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance
sheet date.
