Company activities and impact

During this period, work largely expanded within our shop. We worked to make our shop more sustainable through multiple means, including wrapping gifts in compostable packaging, pressing our flowers to be used on compostable cards, introducing an art gallery, and starting a book recycling scheme. We also introduced volunteers to the shop during this time. This allowed us to continue to support the vulnerable within our community, including those with disabilities and long-term conditions.Outside of the shop, we introduced activities for the local children, and provided meals to combat holiday hunger. The Royal Horticultural Society rated our local area Gold, and we won Best in Class for Small Towns.Work continued within our garden, providing volunteering opportunities for the local communities, and produce for our community including flowers, herbs and fruit and vegetables.
