Basis of preparing the Financial Statements

The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A Small Entities.

Presentation Currency

The accounts are presented in £ sterling.

Turnover

Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, net of value added taxes. Turnover is measured by reviewing the actual services provided against total services to be provided and is only recognised if it can be estimated reliably.

Current Tax

Tax payable is based on the taxable profit in the year. Taxable profit may differ from profit reported in the profit and loss because of items of income or expense that are taxable or deductible in another financial year.

Tangible Fixed Asset Policy

Tangible assets are measured at cost less accumulated depreciation. Expected useful lives are depreciated on the following bases; Fixtures and Fittings - 20% straight lineComputer Equipment - 20% straight line

Intangible Asset Policy

Intangible assets are made up of Goodwill and IP which were acquired as part of the acquisition of Taste Communications, and will be amortised over a period of 15 years.Intangibles include software expenses which are amortised over a period of 2 years.
