The company hosts an online sustainable fashion platform along with events for start-ups, small businesses locally, nationally, and internationally. These events open doors to local small businesses in the community and wider community to take part by attending, supporting and purchasing items and learning more about fashion, how to shop smarter and work at slowing down on their consumption, throwing away less and becoming more sustainable in everyday life. During the financial year 2021-2022, the company was receiving from lack of work and financial Government COVID support and since then has managed to start building back the loss of business and activities.The company has hosted 3 main live events this tax year, 2 big events during London Fashion Week in February and September and one popup for brands to sell during the middle of the year.The community has benefitted over this period in the following ways: - Local, and national small businesses have been given the opportunity to showcase their brands on a professional stage during the biggest fashion event of the year in London, London Fashion week. opportunities to present work at a popup. Able to network with VIP’s fashion, media and meet people that they would never have had the opportunity to meet. - The company has provided full-time or part-time internships for 3 students studying fashion, fashion marketing, fashion PR, media studies and journalism. - The company has provided volunteering opportunities for individuals and students in the local and wider community where they can get hands-on experience in the fashion industry they intend to work in. - Over 1000 start-ups and early-stage businesses have engaged with us and have been supported with their businesses in various ways. - Over 500 international brands from across the world have been supported virtually and in other ways. - Over 1000 businesses have been featured in our online magazine.
