1. Accounting policies
Basis of measurement and preparation
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102 Other accounting policies
Policy For Revenue RecognitionRevenue is measured at the fair value of the consideration receved or receivable. Revenue is reduced for customer refunds.Policy For Basis Of Preparing AccountsThe directors believe that the company can manage its income and costs. The directors continue to fundraise to deliver the objectives. Accordingly they have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus they adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements. In making these assumptions the directors have considered a period of twelve months from the date of approving these accounts.

Sole Rebel have been providing dance classes, workshops and performances for our community. We have been delivering educational training for 18 – 30 year old professional dance artists who are early career artists. Providing masterclasses and performance opportunities through our Training & Performance Company.Sole Rebel have been collaborating with other artists, musicians in our region to make performance work and connect with the community on various projects benefiting the community by advancing performance art, making art accessible for all, and improving wellness through physical activity.
Our stakeholders include:Local organisations; 24 Hope Street, Unity Theatre, Toxteth TV, Family Hive, Ullet Road Community at Unitarian, Liverpool Institute for Performance Arts, University of Salford, Arts at The Old Fire Station, Oxford Dancin’ Festival, Morley College, Swindon Dance. Our community of students and participants who engage with our regular classes and projects.We often use feedback questionnaires with our participants after a project or a block of classes. We also hold consultations with local organisations to explore what our community need.
