Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 30 June 2022 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

Company activities and impact

The company’s activities are to provide a media training facility for local people as part of a live radio and multimedia community radio station. At present there are no local facilities or course providers in the Cannock Chase area who can provide suitable training or, more importantly, access to hands on training in a live local community radio service (Cannock Radio) that is operated to promote local events, activities and businesses in Cannock and the surrounding area. The company’s activities will also be to provide local people with access to reporting, presenting, and entertaining the local community through the daily multi format radio and various community events during the year. People who join the academy can be given training and experience in live events and media and radio training. The aim being to become a local celebrity or develop the suitable training and experience in live events and media organisations and marketing companies. All trainees will be required to work various community activities supported and hosted by Cannock Radio and its partners.
