Directors' benefits: advances, credit and guarantees
The directors had a loan from the company during the year. Advances to the directors amounted to £34,800 (2021: £35,700) and repayments amounted to £54,567 (2021: £17,587). The amount due to the company at the balance sheet date was £7,370 (2021: £26,876). Interest has been charged on the balance at the official rate.

Mark Wilkinson Joinery Ltd is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales. The registered office is Oak House, Market Place, Bedale, North Yorkshire, DL8 1AQ.
For the year ended 31 August 2022 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476.
