| Accounting convention |
| The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation |
| of certain assets. |
| Financial reporting standard number 1 |
| Exemption has been taken from preparing a cash flow statement on the grounds that the company qualifies as a |
| small company. |
| Turnover |
| Turnover represents the net amounts invoiced for the provision of services and sales of goods, excluding value |
| added tax. |
| Tangible fixed assets |
| Depreciation is calculated to write off the cost less any residual value of tangible fixed assets on a straight-line |
| basis over their estimated useful lives. |
| Investment property |
| Investment property is shown at most recent valuation. Any aggregate surplus or deficit arising from changes in |
| market value is transferred to a revaluation reserve. |
