1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of accounting

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention, and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008).

Deferred taxation

Provision is made for deferred taxation at current rates of corporation tax except to the extent that no actual liability to tax is expected to arise in the foreseeable future.

Pensions

The company opreates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions to the scheme are charged to the profit and loss account of the period to which they relate.
