1. Accounting policies
Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
The financial statements are prepared under the historic cost convention and in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Turnover policy
The company's income is derived from its members and its expenditure relates entirely to the leasehold property owned by the members. Therefore any surplus or deficiency is carried forward in the sinking fund as being either repayable or recoverable from the members. Other accounting policies
The company would normally be liable to Corporation Tax on its investment income. However, by virtue of an Inland Revenue concession the company will not be assessed on its modest investment income.
