For the year ended 31 December 2020 the Company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 480 of the Companies Act 2006.

Members have not required the Company to obtain an audit for the year in question in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime and in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A - small entities.

The financial statements have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The Company has opted not to file the profit and loss account in accordance with provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime.

1.	General information

Oakfield Foods (Imports) Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales. The address of its registered office is 3 Elstree Gate, Elstree Way, Borehamwood, England, WD6 1JD.
The financial statements are presented in Sterling (£).

2.Accounting policies

2.1

Basis of preparation of financial statements

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention unless otherwise specified within these accounting policies and in accordance with Section 1A of Financial Reporting Standard 102, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland and the Companies Act 2006.

2.2

Share capital

Ordinary shares are classified as equity. Incremental costs directly attributable to the issue of new ordinary shares or options are shown in equity as a deduction, net of tax, from the proceeds.

7.	Contingent liabilities

The company has given a cross guarantee in respect of its parent company's borrowings to its bankers.

8.	Related party transactions
	At the year end, Oakfield (Foods) Limited owed the company £100 (2019: £100). The company has taken advantage of the exemption under FRS 102 from the requirement to disclose transactions with group companies on the grounds that the company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Oakfield (Foods) Limited and consolidated financial statements are prepared.

9.	Ultimate parent undertaking

The results of the company will be included in the consolidated financial statements of Oakfield (Foods) Limited, the parent company. The registered office of Oakfield (Foods) Limited is 3 Elstree Gate, Elstree Way, Borehamwood, England, WD6 1JD.
