The LLP is entitled to exemption from audit under Section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 as applied to LLPs by the Limited Liability Partnerships (Accounts and Audit) (Application of Companies Act 2006) Regulations 2008 for the year ended 31 July 2021.

The members acknowledge their responsibilities for:
(a)ensuring that the LLP keeps accounting records which comply with Sections 386 and 387 of the Companies Act 2006 as applied to LLPs by the Limited Liability Partnerships (Accounts and Audit) (Application of Companies Act 2006) Regulations 2008 and
(b)preparing financial statements which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the LLP as at the end of each financial year and of its profit or loss for each financial year in accordance with the requirements of Sections 394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 as applied to LLPs by the Limited Liability Partnerships (Accounts and Audit) (Application of Companies Act 2006) Regulations 2008 relating to financial statements, so far as applicable to the LLP.

The financial statements have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to LLPs subject to the small LLPs regime.

All the members have consented to the preparation of an abridged Income Statement and an abridged Balance Sheet for the year ended 31 July 2021 in accordance with Section 444(2A) of the Companies Act 2006 as applied to LLPs by the Limited Liability Partnerships (Accounts and Audit) (Application of Companies Act 2006) Regulations 2008.

In accordance with Section 444 of the Companies Act 2006 as applied to LLPs by the Limited Liability Partnerships (Accounts and Audit) (Application of Companies Act 2006) Regulations 2008, the Income Statement has not been delivered.

1. STATUTORY INFORMATION

Ferry Street Llp is registered in England and Wales. The LLP's registered number and registered office address can be found on the General Information page.

The presentation currency of the financial statements is the Pound Sterling (£).


2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the requirements of the Statement of Recommended Practice, Accounting by Limited Liability Partnerships. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain assets.

Investment property
Investment properties are properties held to earn rentals and for capital appreciation. Investment properties are initially measured at cost, including transaction costs. Subsequently investment properties are measured at fair value. Gains and losses arising from changes in the fair value of investment properties are included in profit or loss in the period in which they arise.

Short term debtors and creditors
Short term debtors and creditors with no stated interest rate are recorded at transaction price. Any losses arising from impairment are recognised in the profit and loss account.

Loans and borrowings
Loans and borrowings are initially recognised at the transaction price including transactions costs. Subsequently, they are measured at amortised cost using the effective interest rate method, less impairment.

7. RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES

At the balance sheet date, the LLP was owed £23,852 (2020 - £23,852) by Build 2017 Ltd, £9,900 (2020 : nil) by Chigwell Ltd, £16,000 (2020: nil) by New York Development Ltd, £25,000 (2020: nil) by Woodgreen Investments Ltd and £20,000 (2020: £20,000) by Build 46 Limited, companies which are controlled by common members of this LLP.

At the balance sheet date, the LLP owed £216,241 (2020 - £191,241) to Gazeport Limited, £16,000 (2020 - £16,000) to Leytonstone properties LLP, £25,000 (2020 - £25,000) to JAL Investment Ltd, £2,500 (2020 -£2,500) to JSD Properties Ltd and £1,560 (2020 - £3,000) to Anson Road (UK) Ltd, all companies/LLPs controlled by members/directors in common with members of this LLP.
