Basis of measurement and preparation
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102 Turnover policy
Turnover comprises the fair value of the consideration received or receivable for the sale of goods and provisionof services in the ordinary course of the company’s activities. Turnover is shown net of sales/value added tax,returns, rebates and discounts.The company recognises revenue when:The amount of revenue can be reliably measured;it is probable that future economic benefits will flow to the entity;and specific criteria have been met for each of the company's activities. We have delivered the following on 2020/2021In person activities on 2020 and early 2021 were limited however we did manage to provide a range of activity to benefit young people and the people of Stoke on Trent and North Staffordshire We commissioned 50 educational films for young people to learn from home, including a film sharing future hopes of young people.We delivered artist in residence workshops in 8 schools with over 200 children over a 12 week period.We delivered creative activity at ‘The City Centre Beach’ with a focus on reading or over 30 families. We continued to work on the Appetite Programme delivering free arts and cultural activity to thousands of people in Stoke on Trent and North Staffordshire.
We commissioned staffs university to evaluate our programmes, including interviews with teachers, young people and parents. This feedback has been used to reshape future programmes and activity.
Director's remuneration of £8448 is included within these financial statements
