HEALING SOLIDARITY COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY

Directors' report period ended 31 March 2022

The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 March 2022

Principal activities of the company

During this period we developed our consultancy offering and also invited some new organisational members to join us. We continue to think through the most effective way of resourcing this work going forward and plan to make some strategic decisions about that during 2022. In 2021 we began to invest in some more consistent support for our online community. In addition to the investments in community support that we began to make in 2021 our plans for 2022 also include investing going forward in operations and strategy development to give Healing Solidarity a more solid basis for the future.

Company Number: 12965223 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 March 2022

Company activities and impact

During this period we have continued to host a number of different events for the online community that we run (which now has almost 2000 members). Through the pandemic we were able to continue connecting people in this way and, in addition, we ran a successful online conference in October 2021. With support from the Emergence Fund we have been able to develop some new events including a monthly BIPOC-only healing space and we have also reinvigorated our monthly Tending to Ourselves session which is open to all. Global Communicators Connect is our monthly space for communicators who want to do things differently. We have also run poetry and collage courses for our community and continue to develop the spaces and opportunities which we can offer them going forward.

Consultation with stakeholders

The online space we run means that we are regularly in communication with many of our stakeholders. We also use emails and surveys to solicit feedback from people in our online space throughout the year.

Directors' remuneration

No remuneration was received

Transfer of assets

No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
