The going concern basis of preparation is not applicable for John Miles Plant Hire Limited, as the company has ceased trading since the balance sheet date, and is undergoing liquidation. The financial statements do not include any provision for the future cost of terminating the business of the company except to the extent that such costs were committed at the balance sheet date.
