Company activities and impact

The company delivers science related events and workshops to colleges, schools and universities. It also delivers to youth groups such as Cubs, Scouts, Brownies and Guides.The Company started trading as a CIC in 2014 delivering inspirational events since. It has delivered the Worldskills UK Forensic Science competition to colleges and Universities across the UK since 2014 engaging with over 70,000 young people every year.The CIC has one annual grant funder, the Skills Funding Agency, for the sum of £7,000 and relies on donations for any other activities or profits from the workshops it delivers.The CIC continues to advise people on forensic and science careers via its free online portals such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.No Employees have been Recruited again this year.

Consultation with stakeholders

Stakeholders were people who work in the Science industry connected with Forensic Science, young people looking for science careers and those who had not thought about science careers.We use evaluation from all our competitors in the WorldSkills Competition to form our vision for the next 12 months and any distinct actions that are beneficial to all are introduced as long as they do not burden the organisation overly.Any workshops we deliver with any partners such as WorldSkills UK are events where we can give feedback but also gain feedback at the same time for those present who are scientists, educators, business leaders and WorldSkills UK team members.Working in schools to deliver STEM clubs, Science clubs, and hands on workshops with industry content
