1. Accounting policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities.

Other accounting policies

Neither profit nor loss arose during the year under review. As a consequence a Profit and Loss Account has not been prepared. The value of the company's interest in the freehold property is at £nil for the reason that all the income producing interest in that property (being the industrial buildings on the site) are subject to long leases at nominal ground rents. The remainder of the property which is not let forms the common parts of the estate and this is not capable of beneficial use as it is subject to rights of way in favour of the tenants of the industrial buildings.
