Directors' report period ended 30 April 2020

The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 30 April 2020

Principal activities of the company

The company's activities will be carried on for the benefit of a large number of sole traders, micro and small businesses who are generally members of the Business Network International. These businesses are looking to grow their business and provide more employment opportunities in the area. The purpose of the company is to help these businesses to group together and tender for contracts. These can be local or national government contracts, NHS, or other government departments. Contracts by businesses that are in the public realm. This will include any other work where we can work as a collective to ensure continuity of work and guarantee that the work will be completed on time and on budget. This company will allow us to be invited to tender where the size of the contract may preclude these businesses from bidding. This company will ensure that when we bid and win a contract, we will be able to complete that contract. We will do this by having a number of each type of business. An example would be electricians, we would have up to 6 different electricians that we can call upon to complete the work. So, if one electrician cannot complete the work we will have other electricians within the collective that can complete the work.

Company policy on disabled employees

We will provide all reasonable assistance to employees who are or who become disabled, making reasonable adjustments wherever possible to provide continued employment. We will ensure an appropriate risk assessment is carried out and that appropriate specialist advice is obtained when necessary.
