The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime and in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A - Small Entities. The profit and loss account has not been delivered to the Registrar of Companies.

Compliance with accounting standards
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A Small Entities. There were no material departures from that standard.
The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below and have remained unchanged from the previous year, and also have been consistently applied within the same accounts.
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain fixed assets.
The accounts are presented in £ sterling.
Investments in shares are included at cost less any accumulated impairment losses.

Shareholding ceased 2018
Following the removal of the shareholding the investment of £50,001 in Condate Biogas Ltd was reclassified as a loan.

Transactions with related parties
In creditors, there is an amount due of £50,000 (2019 - £50,000) to GFLE Topco 8 Ltd which is the parent company of GFLE Great Hele Ltd.
In creditors, there is an amount due of £600 (2019 - £600) to GFL Dairy Ltd. W Reed is a director of both companies.
In debtors, the amount due of £50,001 (2019 - £50,001) is from Condate Biogas Ltd which was a joint venture where GFLE Great Hele Ltd now owns none of the shares (2017 - 100% of the ordinary A shares and 0% of the ordinary B shares).
W Reed ceased to be a director of Condate Biogas Ltd on 20 November 2017.
The ultimate parent company is GFLE Topco 8 Ltd.
The ultimate controlling party is WK Reed.
