1Accounting Policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
The accounts are prepared under the historical cost convention, and in accordance with the
Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008).

Tangible assets depreciation policy
The reversionary lease of Beach Court, Cove Road and Harsfold Road, Rustington, West Sussex is held
by the company free of cost.

Other accounting policies
Service charge fund accounts - in accordance with current legal and accounting practice, service charge income received from the leaseholders of Beach Court is held on trust for the leaseholders, and income and expenditure relating to maintenance of the common parts is shown in separate service charge accounts which do not form part of the annual accounts of the company. The company has no income and expenditure in its own right.
