The company is entitled to exemption from audit under Section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 for the year ended 31 March 2020.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2020 in accordance with Section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for:

(a)	ensuring that the company keeps accounting records which comply with Sections 386 and 387 of the Companies Act 2006 and

(b)

preparing financial statements which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company as at the end of each financial year and of its profit or loss for each financial year in accordance with the requirements of Sections 394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 relating to financial statements, so far as applicable to the company.

The financial statements have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

In accordance with Section 444 of the Companies Act 2006, the Income Statement has not been delivered.

1.	STATUTORY INFORMATION

Murwillumbah Manufacturing Limited is a private company, limited by shares , registered in England and Wales. The company's registered number and registered office address can be found on the Company Information page.

2.	ACCOUNTING POLICIES

BASIS OF PREPARING THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

These financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis, notwithstanding the fact that the company has a deficit on its balance sheet. Assurances have been obtained from Dr C J Glynn, a director of the company, that his support will not be withdrawn in the foreseeable future, and that the company can and will be able to meet its liabilities as and when they fall due.

PATENTS AND LICENCES

Patents and licences are shown at cost and are not amortised, as the directors do not consider the useful economic life to be finite, due to the legal rights being renewable and the renewal being considered assured. The directors carry out an impairment review annually. This represents a departure from the provisions of FRS 102 in order to show a true and fair view.

7.	DIRECTORS' ADVANCES, CREDITS AND GUARANTEES

At the beginning of the year there was an amount of £99,642 owed to the director. During the year payments of £110,000 were made to the director and £5,271 was repaid by the director. The remaining balance of £5,087 was repaid by the director within 9 months of the year end.

8.	RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES

At the beginning of the year there was an amount of £593,610 owed to a company under common control. During the year this company withdrew sums amounting to £34,730, and an amount of £628,340 was waived by the company under common control.

The following reproduces the text of the report prepared for the directors in respect of the company's annual unaudited financial statements. In accordance with the Companies Act 2006, the company is only required to file a Balance Sheet. Readers are cautioned that the Income Statement and certain other primary statements and the Report of the Directors are not required to be filed with the Registrar of Companies.

In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your approval the financial statements of Murwillumbah Manufacturing Limited for the year ended 31 March 2020 which comprise the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and the related notes from the company's accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us.

As a practising member firm of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), we are subject to its ethical and other professional requirements which are detailed within the ICAEW's regulations and guidance at http://www.icaew.com/en/membership/regulations-standards-and-guidance.

This report is made solely to the Board of Directors of Murwillumbah Manufacturing Limited, as a body, in accordance with our terms of engagement. Our work has been undertaken solely to prepare for your approval the financial statements of Murwillumbah Manufacturing Limited and state those matters that we have agreed to state to the Board of Directors of Murwillumbah Manufacturing Limited, as a body, in this report in accordance with ICAEW Technical Release 07/16AAF. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than Murwillumbah Manufacturing Limited and its Board of Directors, as a body, for our work or for this report.
