The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

The members have agreed to the preparation of abridged accounts for this accounting period in accordance with Section 444(2A).

  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Service charges are levied from property owners in advance of anticipated maintenance expenditures. Amounts levied in excess of current period expenditures are held in reserves as a liability and released to income when utilised.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    The cost of freehold land is not depreciated. The Directors are of the opinion that its carrying value does not exceed its fair value.

    Other accounting policies

    The Company has no share capital and is limited by Guarantees in the amount of £1 each issued by the 5 Members. The acquisition cost of the freehold land, including related legal expenses, was funded by capital contributions made in cash by the original five members equally. During the year £809, being initial advances in excess of the amounts ultimately required to cover the acquisition costs, was reimbursed to Members.
