Basis of preparation

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 105 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime'.

The financial statements are prepared in sterling which is the functional currency of the company and rounded to the nearest £1.

2	Staff numbers

The average number of persons employed by the company (including directors) during the period, was 10 (2019 - 8).

3	Financial commitments, guarantees and contingencies

Amounts disclosed in the balance sheet

Included in the balance sheet are guarantees of £81,457 (2019 - £Nil). There is a limited personal guarantee in respect of a loan taken on the 05/06/2019 given by the directors of the comapny.The loan is being paid by 60 monthly instalments. As at 30/09/2020 the balance on this loan due within 1 year was £19,085 and after more than 1 year was £62,372.

Included in advances to directors is interest on overdrawn directors current accounts. Interest was charged at the official rate.

5	Buy back of own shares

During the year one third of the share capital, comprising 10 ordinary shares was purchased back by the company from Mr CP Page, a former director of the company (resigned 20/03/2020) and his wife Mrs L Page for a total consideration of £40,000.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions of the Companies Act 2006 and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime and the option not to file the Profit and Loss Account has been taken.

For the financial period ending 30 September 2020 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

Directors' responsibilities:

•	The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its accounts for the period in question in accordance with section 476; and
•	The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
