1. Accounting policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts

The full financial statements, from which these abbreviated accounts have been extracted, have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective 2008).

Turnover policy

Turnover comprises revenue recognised by the company in respect of goods and services supplied, exclusive of VAT and trade discounts.

Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

Tangible fixed assets are stated at cost less depreciation. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost of fixed assets, less their residual value, over their expected useful lives on the following basis:- Plant and Machinery - 33.33% straight line.

Valuation information and policy

Stock is valued at the lower of cost or net realisable value, after making due allowance for obsolete and slow moving items.

Other accounting policies

At the balance sheet date the company had net liabilities. The accounts have been prepared under a going concern basis, as the directors of the company have agreed to provide the company with funding sufficient to enable it to meet its liabilities as they fall due.
