CONTINGENCY
The company has been involved in litigation with lessees and a former managing agent of its freehold property. Both of these parties obtained judgements against the company which have not been enforced. The company has substantial counter claims against these parties. As a result of this, extensive legal and other expenditure has been incurred, most of which remains unpaid at the Balance Sheet date.
