1. Accounting policies

Basis of measurement and preparation

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

Turnover policy

Turnover represents amounts receivable on the provision of services, net of VAT, and trade discounts on the provision of services falling within the company’s ordinary activities.

Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

Tangible fixed assets are stated at cost less depreciation. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost less estimated residual value of each asset over its expected useful life, as follows:
Motor vehicle 25% reducing balance method
Office equipment 25% straight-line method
Furniture & fittings 25% straight-line method

Other accounting policies

Deferred taxation is provided at appropriate rates on all timing differences using the liability method only to the extent that, in the opinion of the directors, there is a reasonable probability that a liability or asset will crystallise in the foreseeable future.
