1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Accounting convention |
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the |
Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |
Turnover |
Turnover represents net invoiced sales of goods, excluding value added tax. |
Turnover represents the amounts (excluding value added tax) derived from the provision of goods and services |
to customers during the year. Turnover is recognised at the earlier of when individual assignments or contracts |
with clients are completed or when pre agreed milestones are achieved which trigger on account payments by |
customers. |

Deferred tax |
Full provision is made for deferred tax assets and liabilities arising from timing differences between the |
recognition of gains and losses in the accounts and their recognition for tax purposes. |
Hire purchase and leasing commitments |
Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to the profit and loss account on a straight line basis over the |
period of the lease. |
Pension costs and other post-retirement benefits |
The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions payable to the company's pension |
scheme are charged to the profit and loss account in the period to which they relate. |

The company provided the directors with current accounts where items of personal expenditure paid for by the |
directors were charged. The amounts were repaid by the award of bonuses and dividends to the directors. Both |
directors were owed monies by the company at the beginning and end of the year. |
The advances made by the directors to the company were unsecured, interest free and repayable at the discretion |
of the directors. |
