1. STATUTORY INFORMATION

Manor Way Residents Association Limited is a private company, limited by shares , registered in England and

2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

Turnover
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates,
value added tax and other sales taxes.

Tangible fixed assets
Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life.

The Knoll (Land Registry title number SGL 432663) is a woodland area located at Old Manor Way, Chislehurst,
Kent BR7 5XS. It is bounded by Elmstead Lane, Old Manor Way, and the footpath that leads from Elmstead Lane to
Old Manor Way.

Manor Way Residents Association Limited (MWRA) acquired the Knoll on 16th April, 1992 when ownership was
transferred at nominal value from Wards Construction (Medway) Limited, the company that developed the site, and
built the houses which became Old Manor Way.

To develop Old Manor Way, Wards were required to ensure that the Knoll would be maintained going forward.
MWRA was created by Wards as a vehicle to own the Knoll, and ownership of MWRA is tied to ownership of the
houses in Old Manor Way.
