1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Accounting convention
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the
Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008).

Turnover
Turnover represents net invoiced sales of services, excluding value added tax and franchise fees.

Goodwill
Goodwill, being the amount paid in connection with the acquisition of a business in 2011, is being amortised evenly over its estimated useful life of five years.

Tangible fixed assets
Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life.

Plant and machinery - 25% on reducing balance
Fixtures and fittings - 25% on reducing balance
Motor vehicles - 25% on reducing balance
Computer equipment - 33% on cost

Stocks
Stocks are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after making due allowance for obsolete and slow
moving items.

Deferred tax
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the
balance sheet date.

Hire purchase and leasing commitments
Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to the profit and loss account on a straight line basis over the
period of the lease.

Pension costs and other post-retirement benefits
The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions payable to the company's pension
scheme are charged to the profit and loss account in the period to which they relate.

6. RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES

The company owned 47% of the issued ordinary share capital of Alpine Truck Cleaning Limited, and was also a
director. The directors A Leigh and Mrs D L Leigh were also directors of Alpine Truck Cleaning Limited.

Alpine Truck Cleaning Limited ceased trading on 31 December 2013, and was dissolved on 24 February 2015.
The company purchased stock of £900 and plant and machinery of £6,650 from Alpine Truck Cleaning Limited
on cessation. The directors estimated that these were fair market values.

Bad debts of £8,515 relate to a loan to Alpine Truck Cleaning Limited that was written off during the year. The
balance at 30 September 2013 was £24,586 and was included in other debtors.

The company paid dividends to the directors of £13,000 (2013 : £27,500).

7. ULTIMATE CONTROLLING PARTY

The company is controlled by the director, A Leigh.
