8. | SINKING FUND |
The company does not have any surplus or deficit during the year as any movement relates to the |
sinking fund which is held in trust by the company on behalf of the shareholders. The sinking fund |
is the only bank account and as it is not a company asset, is excluded from the company balance |
sheet. At the year-end the bank balance was £2,293.37 (2019 - £7,643.88). |
This treatment follows guidance from The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales |
for property management companies. |
