1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
1a. Basis Of Accounting | ||||||||
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention. | ||||||||
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with FRS102 section 1A - The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland and the Companies Act 2006 . |
1b. Investment Properties | ||||||||
Investment properties are included in the financial statements at open market value. No depreciation is provided on such property in compliance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities. This departure from Companies Act requirements is necessary to show a true and fair view. |

These financial statements for the year ended 31-10-2019 are the prepared in accordance with FRS 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland".The property is being measured at fair value under FRS 102 and fair value gains and losses are reported in profit or loss. | ||||||||
FRS 102 also requires deferred tax to be accounted for on assets that are subject to revaluation. Consequently, deferred tax of £2,850 (2018: £1,922) was recognised at 31 October 2019 to reflect the provisions of FRS 102.The profit on revaluation at 31 October 2019 has been reported in profit or loss and the effect on profit for the year-ended 31 October 2019 is an increase in profit for amount £15,000 (2018: £10,118). | ||||||||
