At the balance sheet date an interest free loan amounting to £973,827 (2018: £973,827) was payable by the company to its subsidiary. The loan is repayable on demand.

Mr M.J. Mahalla is the managing director and controlling share holder in M.J Properties (UK) Limited, to whom the company made interest free loans. Although the company reserves the right to charge interest, as determined and agreed by both parties, no interest was charged in the year to 31 December 2019. At the balance sheet date the loans outstanding, included in current assets to the financial statements, amounted to £3,249,244 (2018: £3,250,954). The loans are repayable on demand.

The financial statement presents information about the company as an individual undertaking and not about its group. The company and its subsidiary undertaking comprise a small-sized group. The company has therefore taken advantage of the exemptions provided by section 399 of the Companies Act 2006 not to prepare group accounts.

For the year ended 31 December 2019 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The member has not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions of the Companies Act 2006 and in accordance with FRS 105 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime' and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
