Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 August 2019 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

The members have agreed to the preparation of abridged accounts for this accounting period in accordance with Section 444(2A).

These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The directors have chosen to not file a copy of the company’s profit & loss account.

1. Accounting policies

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

Turnover policy

Turnover comprises the fair value of rental income net of Value Added Tax, allowances and discounts in accordance with the contractual letting of theproperties.

Valuation and information policy

Investment properties are properties which are held either to earn rental income or for capital appreciation or for both. Investment properties are recognised initially at cost. Subsequent to initial recognitioni. investment properties whose fair value can be measured reliably without undue cost or effort are held at fair value. Any gains or losses arising fromchanges in the fair value are recognised in profit or loss in the period that they arise; and ii. no depreciation is provided in respect of investmentproperties applying the fair value model.

Other accounting policies

Derivative financial instruments are recognised at fair value. The gain or loss on remeasurement to fair value isrecognised immediately in the profit or loss.
