  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts

    The financial statements are prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (Effective April 2008)

    Turnover policy

    Turnover represents income derived from the company's principal activity. It comprises the invoiced value of goods and services supplied by the company, net of Value Added Tax and trade discounts.

    Other accounting policies

    The accounts have been prepared on the going concern basis, on the understanding that continued financial support will be provided by the shareholders.

    The director is aware of the identity of the ultimate controlling party. However, they are under a duty of confidentiality that prevents them from disclosing certain information otherwise required by the Financial Reporting Standard 8. Therefore they have taken the exemption offered by the standard in respect of confidentiality.
